Dare for More. Your journey from pain to connection starts here.

Steph Sterling, LCSW (NY, NJ, FL, CO, PA), LICSW (MA), is a relationship therapist and communication specialist with nearly 20 years of experience helping high-achieving individuals and couples work through complex emotional and relational dynamics. Her work bridges depth and practicality, supporting clients not only in gaining insight, but in applying it in meaningful, lasting ways.
A Certified Imago Relationship Therapist with advanced training in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and the Gottman Method, Steph specializes in communication breakdowns, unresolved emotional injuries, and entrenched relational patterns that can leave individuals and couples feeling stuck or disconnected. Her approach is attuned, structured, and collaborative, integrating emotional depth with clear, actionable guidance.
Steph works with professionals, entrepreneurs, and high-performing couples who function effectively in many areas of life but experience challenges within their relationships. Whether navigating a transition, working through recurring conflict, or seeking deeper emotional connection, she offers a thoughtful and focused path forward.
Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed, relational framework that prioritizes safety, consistency, and meaningful change over time.
Steph has completed training in psychedelic harm reduction and integration (PHRI) and psilocybin facilitation through Fluence, and has completed Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) training through Journey Clinical. This training informs her broader understanding of non-ordinary states and her work in clinical research settings, and is not part of the services offered within her psychotherapy practice.
In addition to her clinical work, Steph volunteers with Fireside Project, a nonprofit that provides confidential, non-judgmental peer support by phone and text for people during and after psychedelic experiences. This role reflects her commitment to harm reduction, emotional safety, and offering grounded, non-clinical support during moments of vulnerability, transition, and meaning-making.
